We Believe:

NewLife is a General Council of the Assemblies of God affiliated church. Our mission is to reach the people of our community with God's love, and our We Believe....So We Live statements are developed from the Assemblies of God nonnegotiable tenets of faith.

• The Bible is timeless in its inspiration....In an ongoing interpretation of its truth.
• There is one God....To know Him.
• That Jesus is fully God....Christ can live in us.
• Mankind throughout history has sinned against God....That we too are marked by willful disobedience to God's direction.
• God extends freedom from sin’s grasp….Asking forgiveness and living the purposeful reality of that counter culture.
• In Ordinances....With participatory imagery in communion & water baptism.
• In Spirit & His fulfillment....Expecting power encounters with divine enablement.
• Distinct evidences of His Spirit reality....Stretched into vessels of what gifts God is pouring out, (including tongues).
• In power words, such as Sanctification….. Heavenward, distancing ourselves from things that bind & destroy our relationship with Christ.
• The Church & its Mission....In this community of faith in relation to the ‘Greats;' the Commission & the Commandment.
• In the calling....As believers to fulfill divine purposes.
• In healing from above....Knowing God heals the heart as well as the body.
• In eternal hope....Knowing its not over, living for eternity now & expecting Christ's return.
• In a coming 1000 years of God's peace.... Conditioned & sensitive to what God is doing globally.
• God is the ultimate Judge....With the knowledge that it ‘really 'does matter.'
• In His ultimate creation to come....That the day is coming where all creation will once again worship Him.
