NewLife Leaders are a team of dedicated, caring and committed volunteers. Every week they bring their time, energy and talents with a desire to see people develop a relationship with God and one another.
Virginia Silva - Nursery
Virginia accepted the Lord 15 years ago and has been attending NewLife for 5 years, serving in the Nursery for most of that time. Virginia joyfully tends to the needs of our infant and toddler's with a smile and a warm welcome.
On a personal note Virginia is a mom of 3 grown children, and Grandma to Brendan, Noel, Hannah, Jacob, Mathew and Haleigh.
Dean and Joyce Giese - Faith & Fun Factory
Dean & Joyce Giese (Mr. & Mrs. G to the kids) love the Lord, love kids and are a bit kooky. They share God's word in a fun but personal way with many surprises that accompany the adventure.
Mr. & Mrs. G have loved on the kids at NewLife for over 17 years, and have encouraged many of the NewLife youth to find a place for themselves in ministry here.
Tina Williams/Toni Rodino/Marian Graham- HIP (Heros In Progress)
Tina, Toni and Marian all share a love of teaching children about
God's love, and how Jesus came to show us that. They all have hearts
for God's work at NewLife.
Combined our 3 Amigos have over 40 years of ministry experience, and bring that experience and creativity every week to teach our Heroes In Progress.
John Heter Jr. - Amplify/Young Adults
John leads the student ministries; this includes Jr. High, Sr. High and young adults. Growing the youth and young adults into spiritually mature servants is at the core of John's ministry.
John has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1987, loves Basketball and challenging the youth to make the best Americano possible.
John Heter Sr. - Men's Ministry
John and his family have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1987. He has served as the church bookkeeper since 2005 and was elected as an Elder in 2008. In this capacity his oversight includes Men’s Ministries and Sub-herds small group ministry.
John has a M. S. degree in Geology and is currently enrolled at Berean Bible College taking courses to become a licensed minister.
Evelyn Kazsuk - Women's Ministry
Evelyn has been attending NewLife for about 6 years, and has served in the Women’s Ministries most of that time. Evelyn has an immense love of the Lord and a desire to serve Him in whatever calling he chooses, but particularly in loving the ladies here at NewLife.
Evelyn is a wife, mother to 3 grown children, and Grandma to 9 beautiful grandkids.
Stanton Rutledge - Creative Arts/Worship Director
Stan has been the Worship Director at NewLife since 2002. With his eclectic appreciation of music, (from Hillsongs to the Beatles) and his willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit it is safe to say worship is at the heart of who he is.
Stan is a PK, and his love for the Lord flows into his music, drama, and writing ministry.
Diane Walker -Spiritual Care Director
Diane's love for the Lord is demonstrated in how she cares for people. She has taken everything life's experiences has taught her, and applied God's love to each situation. Diane has completed the Spiritual Care training courses, and now heads up this growing ministry at NewLife with oversight provided by our Pastoral ministry team.
Diane is a wife, mom, step-mom and grandma to a thriving and very active family.
